Nathan graduated from Indiana Bible College in 2005 with a Bachelors degree majoring in Theology and minoring in Music. After three years of serving as a Student Pastor and Worship Leader at Greater Life Tabernacle in Columbia Heights, MN, Nathan moved away from the Minneapolis area and followed his calling to the Crow Indian Reservation in south eastern Montana where he served as a member of the ministry staff at New Life Church in Hardin, MT. While serving at New Life, Nathan was involved in preaching, teaching, music, and youth ministry. After ministering in Montana for a year and a half, Nathan moved back to his home state of Minnesota in February of 2010, and was voted in as the Pastor of Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church in Albert Lea, MN on March 6, 2010. Nathan met his wife, Scotia Leonardson, in the fall of 2011 and they were married on September 15, 2012.
Scotia graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Spanish Linguistics. Throughout college as well as thereafter, Scotia served as the Music Director and Interpreter for Voces Unidas, the Spanish-speaking daughter church of Calvary Gospel Church in Madison, WI, until September 2012, when Scotia married her husband, Nathan Thompson, and moved to Albert Lea to take on the duties of being a Pastor's wife.
